About Me

Jamie is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology at National University / JFK University. She is a PTR-certified tennis coach and former Assistant Coach for Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis.

She was an All-American in singles and doubles, but she’s even more proud of coming back from ACL reconstructive surgery to finish her final season at Pomona-Pitzer.

The name “Powerhouse” comes from the moniker “Pint-Size Powerhouse,” which Jamie adopted from a young age, always being small for her size and her sport. It represents the underdog who overcomes obstacles with tenacity and resilience.

Her holistic mental performance practice takes a person-centered approach combining elements of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Acceptance-Commitment (MAC) Approach.
